We aren't typical deejays; but elegant mixers that make your event the party that everyone raves about. We don't specialize in one style of music, we specialize in YOUR style of music.
We have a wide range of Open Format DJs that can accommodate your musical tastes no matter what the type.

WHAT ABOUT THE FLIPSIDE?
We wish we had a dollar for every time a guest came up to us at a wedding to say, "I wish I would have known about you when I had my wedding... our DJ was terrible..."
We get it.
There aren't many times when you have the opportunity to hire a DJ in life, and most people just don’t have any idea what's involved or more importantly, what’s at stake.
If you're considering a DJ solely on price, perhaps what your fiancée paid for their college party DJ, or your co-worker or best friend paid a friend of a friend, then you're taking a gamble on one of the most impactful things at your party. If the flowers are beautiful and the food is incredible at your wedding but the DJ is less than stellar, or worse yet, terrible, what do you think your guests will remember?
The average price for a wedding DJ in the MD/DC/PA/VA area is $1625 (calculated from the top 50 DJs/companies in the area ranging from $850 to $3000). The more experienced, professional, and reliable DJs are usually priced above that average rate because they typically provide an above-average experience. By definition, a DJ who charges less than the "average" rate is, by default, below average.
Given the impact the DJ has on your event, do you want someone who is below-average on your wedding team? Why would you risk diminishing all the other details you worked and paid for to save a couple of hundred dollars on your DJ? If you are hiring on price alone, we’re probably not the right fit for you. We’ll wish you luck (and hope you won’t need it) and admire your strong tolerance to risk on your wedding day.
WHAT DO YOU CHARGE?
Our wedding rates range between $1600 and $3000.
Depending on the amount of performance time needed (for most weddings, 4-6 hours), we will provide an accurate quote once we have a few event details.
For corporate and other private events, rates start at $1200 (for 4 hours).
The first hour of travel to and from your venue from our office in Columbia, Maryland is always included.
Past the first hour, an additional $100 per hour of travel is added. If we exceed 150 miles in travel to your venue, we ask that you provide us with overnight accommodations.
We are an investment; one of the few things that your guests will remember and be aware of is how well the music is managed and performed. Demand for our DJs limits them to 40-50 weddings each a year.
The average DJ cost nationally for 4 hours is $1000, according to WeddingWire, with the average in the DC/Baltimore region being $1600. We aren't your average DJ and we'd love to show you the difference!
A Professional Wedding Entertainment company will normally invest 20 to 30 hours to your special event but it may appear that you are only paying for "4 hours".

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT?
We encourage you see what we offer, how we mix and blend music around your style(s) and what we are capable of creating for you before you sign a contract. Most DJs will offer to chat for a few minutes at a coffee shop, then present a contract. Do you know how they spin music? We want you to know exactly who and what you are getting and investing in:
*How's their customer service?
*Does your performer DJ, as well as MC?
*How much experience do they have?
*Are you able to see/hear them play before the actual wedding?
*Do they have an office or studio where you can meet to discuss your event and showcase a demonstration?
*Can you find them on the preferred vendor and venue lists?
*Do they have insurance?
*What brand(s) of equipment do they use?
AND...when your venue coordinator or planner referred your DJ personally to you (saying you need to talk to them), what does that tell you?
You can always ask your other vendors: whom would they hire for their own wedding?
We feel that a couples wedding entertainment should be held in the same regard as the photographer and caterer, for instance. Taste the food, view the photos...experience the product before making the commitment =)

DECIDING ON A FLOOR PLAN?
It allows all the guests to gather together in the center. With the DJ on the dance floor, they can really connect with the energy of the crowd.
The DJ would have to blast the sound through all of the tables, resulting in a hollow sound on the dance floor. Plus, the DJ can't connect to the vibe on the floor!
