We worked with Darian from District Remix and could not have been happier. He was there to recommend songs in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and consistently kept the dance floor going on the day-of. What stood out to us when choosing a DJ, was that District Remix DJs all beat match so the song transitions are smooth and there isn't a lull between songs where people consider getting off the dance floor. Our dance floor was HUGE but Darian kept it PACKED with guests having a great time. We got so many compliments on choosing this DJ - and these compliments came from guests all ages. Darian also kept our schedule running smoothly, and he was meticulous when it came to special requests for abbreviating our first dance song and cutting the father daughter dance at a certain refrain. We threw a non-traditional Dungeons and Dragons themed celebration for our wedding and DJ Darian was able to accommodate all of our unique requests. He also was able to give us great advice on what to play during certain moments and gave suggestions on good music. He had everyone dancing and moving towards the end of the evening. Darian had an awesome lighting rig set-up that transitioned us from a conversational dinner to a dance part. He also was just a fantastic professional to work with. I live in CA, but we were planning a wedding in DE. Regardless of the time difference, we were able to get stuff done. Darian even wore themed socks the day of to match our theme. Darian is a friend and was also my DJ at my wedding on 12/7/19. He did a fantastic job and I can assure you I was very particular. The timing, ambiance, details, and music was exactly was I hoped for, not to mention he looked extremely professional, very suave, and debonair. I'm so happy I had him as my DJ. He had a smile on his face the whole night and made my wedding perfect. I will recommend him to anyone I know that's getting married or just needs a DJ.
