People cannot stop talking about how great our wedding was and we owe a large part of that to Jacob from District Remix! The music and the vibe (frat house basement, per our request) he created was on point. He has a great ability to read the room and figure out exactly what the crowd needs to hear to get as hyped up as possible! Amazing, would hire again!
We booked Jacob and District Remix for our wedding in December. We had an absolute blast!
Jacob was thorough, doing an online consultation and two site visits before the big day. He was extremely organized, reminding us of all the details to make sure we didn’t forget certain music. He was flexible, helping a friend we asked to sing get set up and mixing songs as we asked.
The night of the wedding, we couldn’t keep people off the dance floor! Everyone raved about how great the dancing was — even with the room being really warm! Jacob kept the vibe high all night, blending the songs we wanted expertly, and respecting our wishes about the songs on our “do not play”-list.

Jacob of District Remix absolutely crushed our wedding reception. He was attentive to detail, worked fantastically with our day of coordinator, photographer, and other vendors, and our guests can not stop raving about how much fun they had at our reception. He kept the dance floor packed all night and made it the classy rager we were hoping for! Prior to our wedding we had a meeting where he listened to all of our thoughts, what type of reception we wanted, what type of music we were looking to have, etc. very professional and really awesome at his job. He commanded attention when need be for example right before introductions he lined us all up in order snd told us how the whole night was going to go!
